On-street metered parking on Darby Street and Union, Clyde and Young Streets. The Howe Street car park (off Howe Street) has more capacity. Most bays are 2P or 4P during business hours — check signs.

On foot from Newcastle CBD
Approximately 1.5–2 km south of Newcastle Interchange. Walk via Laman Street, passing the Newcastle Art Gallery.

Darby Street is compact, flat and walkable. It's a genuinely independent strip — no chains. Saturday mornings are busiest. Many boutiques are closed Mondays. The street works well for a half-day or a full day.
